Off the Wilderness album, here is Archer Prewitt's O, KY. Love this tune, the piano gets me every time. Enjoy.

Happy Birthday
To the brilliant pop parodist Alfred Matthew Yankovic, better known as Weird Al.
He is 55 today and finally reached number one with the release of his album Mandatory Fun in 2014. Much deserved. He started on the Dr. Demento radio show and never looked back. He has so many wonderfully hilarious parodies that it is hard to single any out, but I have to highlight Foil from his latest album which is sung to the tune of Lorde's Royals. I liked it so much that I have previously posted it on this blog.
Weird Al has said that Mandatory Fun may have been his last full length album and that he may focus his efforts on releasing singles from now on.

Ghost Love Score
Nightwish live in concert in Buenos Aires featuring Floor Jansen. This is Ghost Love Score and there is nothing quite like it. In fact, many people are calling it Ghost Love Floor because she has taken the song and made it her own. Enjoy.

Somebody that I used to know
Pentatonix covers Gotye's haunting song, Somebody that I used to know. If you like a cappella music these guys are pretty good. The word that comes to mind for this cover is stellar. Enjoy.

Will Schusterick wins the USDGC
One of my favorite tour players, and two time past United States Disc Golf Championship winner, once again won the USDGC, but this time he had to survive a three way playoff to do it. Will Schusterick took the title on the second hole of a sudden death playoff against the reigning world champion Paul McBeth. The USDGC signals the end of the major touring season for disc golf and was a fitting end to what has been a really exciting tour year. Congratulations Will Schusterick. Full results of the USDGC Open flight can be found here.
