Who are they getting to ring the opening bell these days?

From the New York Times, "Monday's decline brought the Dow Jones industrial average to another unwanted milestone: its first drop below 7,000 since 1997. At the close, the Dow Jones industrial average declined about 300 points, or 4.24 percent." Maybe it's some sort of financial doppelganger of Typhoid Mary. If I were invited to do it I would run away as fast as humanly possible, lest I become infected also. Oh wait, I already have.
