Phil Harris, the captain of the fishing boat Cornelia Marie that has been featured on “Deadliest Catch,” has died in Alaska at the age of 53. This show is a wild reality series documenting the dangerous lives of Alaskan fishermen. The show was addictive, with lots of tension, danger and drama on the high seas. By all rights he seemed to be a good captain, father and fisherman. His family must be grieving and I feel sorry for them. Fifty-three is way too young to die.
