With the most exciting finish yet in this storied tournament, Paul McBeth beat Greg Barsby by one stroke on the last hole to win the tournament. Barsby was attempting to do something no one has done in the history of the tournament and that is win the event wire to wire. It didn't happen though as the Beast did what he does so naturally and came through under pressure to snatch the win from Barsby who was very classy and sportsmanlike in defeat.
