The only thing we have to fear is government itself

On this day in 1933 Franklin Delano Roosevelt was inagurated as the 32nd President of the United States, subsequently ushering in the era of the "New Deal." Roosevelt is remembered for many things including the line, "The only thing we have to fear is fear itself." In a quasi-redux of the New Deal the current president has signed the biggest stimulus plan in the history of the nation, leaving many wondering how we will pay for the astronomical price tag it incurs. In other words, the government is bailing the economy out supposedly, but who will bail out the government? Answer after the jump.

The answer of course is all of us, but the grand portion of the burden will fall to our kids and their kids and their kids, etc. The question is, will they have the attention span and the wherewithal for it?
