This Swedish singer/song writer/guitar player released this self-titled album in 1994. This is a pop-jazz album that is wonderful from start to finish. Lisa Ekdahl’s silky-smooth, childlike voice caresses your ears throughout this CD with wonderful arrangements of words and music entirely written by her. I don’t speak Swedish, but it doesn’t really matter because the sparkling melodies on this album are so pleasant that you really don’t need to understand what she is saying to thoroughly enjoy them. My favorite track on this album is Vem Vet which means "who knows" in Swedish. She has other albums, including some where she sings the entire time in English, but this is my favorite release by her.
