Today is the first day of one of our annual Disc Golf tournaments. I am not playing in it, but my niece's husband came in from out of town to participate. Instead I played our usual Saturday morning round at the other course and had my worst round of 2009. Perhaps it is karma for not playing in the tournament.The wind was swirling and the pins were in the long positions and I shot, are you ready for this, a 61 or 7 over. I had 3 double bogeys (OUCH!), 2 bogeys (ouch!), 1 birdy and 12 pars for a dismal round. It was a nice day however and I had fun. Needless to say I did not take home the Top Dog award. I hope my niece's husband shoots much better in the tournament.
