What does Tiger have left?

A great article from S.I.'s Joe Posnanski reflecting on Tiger's career and accomplishments, his past travails and his recent struggles on the golf course. The article asks why we expect Tiger to come back and be as good or better than before. Many have anointed him as the best golfer ever to hit the links, but is he? If you follow golf the article is well worth the read.

I never liked Tiger Woods. Mr. Cube can attest to the fact that something about him rubbed me the wrong way from the beginning.

Of course, I didn't wish for his life to fall apart, but he has no one to blame but himself for making such bad choices.

As far as a Tiger come back goes... meh. Don't really care one way or the other.

Cube, good points all. I don't play golf, but disc golf is very similar, mentally and strategically and I can honestly say that I thought the man was an incredible performer under pressure. You are right about something about him being off, I felt that way too, but I think perhaps that is what made him such a good golfer.

As far as his choices, that's another story and whether he comes back or not I don't care much either. The article does make a good point though about for him to claim the title of greatest golfer ever statistically he would have to come back and have the equivalent of Phil Mickleson's career in the time he has left. That kind of blew me away.
